The 2008 NSW Aboriginal Health Awards were held on the Monday, 7th July, 2008,
at "The Waters Edge", Pier 1. MC for the night was Ms Leah Purcell with entertainment by Descendance and Jimmy Little.

WAMS received three awards:

• Working Together to Make a Difference
• Enterprise and Resourcefulness
• Excellence in Workforce
